Barkeeper Drinks
Flat-cost combat drinks, the one-active-at-a-time rule, and the per-trigger counters that tick them down.
Each drink costs a flat 50,000 gold and is consumed immediately on purchase — no inventory slot.
Only one drink is active at a time; buying a second replaces the first. The active drink shows as a badge on the hero box, with a counter that ticks down on a specific trigger:
- Player kill — Sage’s Mead (+10% XP), Stoneblood Ale (+5% Max HP).
- Enemy hit landed on you — Tanner’s Stout (+5% Phys Mit), Warding Wine (+5% All Res).
- Player attack — Hawkeye Spirit, Hunter’s Brew, Quickstep Cider.
- Enemy attack — Shadowveil Mead (+5% DR).
Counters persist across fights, deaths, logouts, and offline catch-up — they only move when their trigger actually fires.

Every drink costs the same flat 50,000 gold. The counter’s starting value is set by its trigger type: kill-triggered drinks start at 500, hit-triggered at 2,500, and attack-triggered at 5,000 — the rarer the trigger event, the fewer ticks it takes to run the drink dry.
