v0.9.7 — Sell Loot, and helmets that match their names
Bulk selling comes back with its payout on the button — and two whole helmet families finally look like their names.
Highlights
Sell Loot is back at the trader
Bulk sell-by-rarity disappeared in v0.9.4’s trader rework; this release gives it a front end again, in a form that answers the question you have before you click. Three buttons sit under the gear grid, one per rarity, each carrying its own count and payout — a full Normal bucket might read 12 · 340g, an empty Rare bucket is dimmed and unclickable. The number is the real quote, not an estimate: it comes from the same path the sale itself runs. Locked items and anything at the smith or witch are never sold, uniques never match a rarity bucket, and every bulk sale still asks for confirmation. Worth remembering: the vendor pays 100% of an item’s value while auto-sell pays 15%, so hauling loot to town by hand is worth roughly 6.7× letting the filter dump it — now visible instead of buried.
Helmet icons that match their names
Two icon families had been drawn to contradict the items they belonged to. The Crown family — Worn Crown through Gilded Crown — kept coming back as steel combat helmets; they’re now actual crowns, an open band of upward-rising points and fleurons with nothing enclosing the head. The Cap family — Worn Cap through Embossed Cap, a leather line — had been rendering as polished steel spangenhelms; they’re now studded leather caps. Both fixes flow through to the uniques on those bases: Lost Crown is a crown at last, and Shako is the dark verdigris-green studded leather cap it should always have been. Protective Bolero also got a fresh render — it had been coming out as a cropped shoulder cape rather than a full cuirass.
