v0.9.5 — Coin for a second look

The trader stops making you wait out the clock — and finally fits on a phone.

Highlights

Reroll the trader’s stock

A Reroll button next to the refresh countdown restocks the entire gear selection immediately, for gold. The cost is (5000 + 400 × your level) × 1.5ⁿ, where n counts the rerolls you’ve already taken this cycle — at level 90 that’s 41,000 gold for the first, 61,500 for the second, 92,250 for the third — and it resets on every natural 4-hour refresh, so each cycle starts cheap again. A reroll replaces the whole gear stock, including offers you hadn’t bought, and refills sold-out slots. The fee stays gold even on Tier-5 stocks: gold needed somewhere to go in the endgame.

Regular trader gear still caps at Tier 4, but once you’ve cleared Tier 5 each of the two Featured slots independently rolls a 10% chance to draw from the Tier-5 pool — the only way Tier-5 bases ever reach the shop. Combined with rerolling, that makes the trader a genuine endgame destination: a Tier-5 Featured rare carries 4 affixes, all in the top 40% of their range, on a base you’d otherwise have to farm. Fishing for one costs a small fortune, which is the point.

Also in this update

  • Featured offers come first: both Featured rares now sit at the front of the gear grid instead of the end of the second row, and their price rose from 3× to 5× the regular formula — they were underpriced for what they roll.
  • The trader panel fits a phone now. Gear offers show 2 per row instead of one marooned icon per full-width card (which had meant roughly 1,200px of scrolling). Potion cards go full-width so the buy buttons stop truncating — +50 no longer renders as +5, and Max (5000) keeps the count it exists to show. The Reroll button spans the panel width.
