v0.6.16 — Echo skills go linear, capped at 250
A pass on Echo scaling that rewards focus, plus a fix to what echoed tiles actually hand you.
Highlights
Echo skills go linear, capped at 250
Echo skills now climb in a straight line up to a hard cap at level 250, where a skill reaches its full bonus. The catch is the cost: maxing all twelve would run to 3,000 points — far more than a full sweep of the map’s echoes provides — so you’ll specialise rather than max everything. Any levels you’d banked above the cap are refunded to your pool.
Echoed tiles pay out correctly
The XP, gold, and item levels you earn from echoed tiles are fixed. They now reflect the tile’s true echoed difficulty instead of a mis-scaled value that had been quietly shortchanging your rewards.
Also in this update
- Echoed combat tiles now stand out on the map with a magenta-violet border and a tinted check mark, clearly distinct from cleared (green) and dungeon (purple) tiles, and their tooltip is tidied to just show the current level.
- Sorting your inventory by slot, level, or rarity now lists consumables and crafting materials first.
- A few active skills are toned down: Sunder Armor drops from 1.5% to 1% armor reduction per rank, Roar from 1% to 0.5% per rank, and Crippling Strike from 3% to 2.5% attack-speed slow per rank.
