v0.6.0 — Echo Points and the passive tree
The Echo system arrives — a whole new layer of progression that grows your hero beyond the loot you find, plus a way to keep pushing a single tile for ever-better rewards.
Highlights
Echo Points and the 12-skill passive tree
Every map tile you clear or echo now awards an Echo Point, spent across a brand-new panel of twelve passive skills that you level up point by point. Four of them climb to a firm cap; the other eight keep paying out with gentler diminishing returns the harder you push them. It is a second axis of power that grows entirely apart from the gear you happen to find.
Tile echoing
Instead of replaying a whole run, you can now echo a single tile on its own. An echo is an all-or-nothing push: clear it and the tile is permanently harder — its level jumps by 10 — and its loot climbs a tier as it crosses each threshold, so the same tile keeps handing out richer rewards every time you echo it. It is a real gamble, though. Die or leave mid-echo and the whole attempt reverts, and the death penalty is doubled for as long as an echo is running.
