Your resistances are shown directly on screen, so you can see how protected you are against each damage type without guessing. Kitting yourself out for a dangerous area becomes a decision you can actually read.

Dying wears your gear

Death now costs durability on your equipment, giving defeat a tangible price beyond lost time. Something to weigh before you push into a fight you might not walk out of.
