v0.13.2 — A fresh coat of paint
A visual update across the whole game. The gameplay stays the same.
Combat scene
- Enemies step out of the dark when they spawn and fade away after they fall.
- Your hero walks on between kills. The view pushes forward with a light head bob until the next enemy appears, and the backdrop drifts slowly the rest of the time. Your system’s “reduce motion” setting turns this off.
- Rare and unique drops light up the battlefield: a beam in the item’s rarity colour rises where the enemy fell, with the item’s icon in it. Only items that actually reach your bag get a beam, not auto-sold or discarded ones.
- Each region now has one painted backdrop for its open field and its own backdrop for the dungeon.
- The enemy card carries a frame in the enemy’s rarity colour.
World map
- Painted markers for the dungeons and event tiles, and landmark tiles lit in their own colour.
- Cleared tiles get a quiet light rim instead of a check mark, so an explored region still shows its painting. Frontier tiles trace their kill progress around the rim, and the selected tile pulses.
- Region crests, and a Resonance card you can fold away.
- On phones the map opens as a large window in the middle of the screen.
Town
- NPC portraits for the Barkeeper, the Blacksmith, the Trader and the Witch.
- The equipment tab shows a painting of your own class instead of the same knight for everyone, and empty slots show a faint outline of what goes there.
- Icons on the town tabs (with a padlock on locked ones), a slimmer header, a compact Region Conquests list and a combat dock on phones.
- Costs at the Blacksmith, the Witch and the Trader show thousands separators.
Menus and windows
- New key art behind the main menu and login, restyled save slots, and tall class paintings on the Choose Class screen.
- Emblems for every entry in the in-game menu.
- Achievements now read like a Steam achievements page: one progress bar, then Unlocked (newest first) and Locked (closest to done first). Hidden achievements are counted in one line at the end.
- The Bestiary shows large portraits, and the Armory shows its uniques as an icon grid.
- The offline summary shows found items as an icon grid.
