v0.12.4 — Auto-explore and save versions

Auto-explore

  • Start a fight on an uncleared combat tile and your hero explores the region by itself. After each clear it moves on to the uncovered tile nearest the one you started on. Starting on a tile you already cleared is plain farming, as before.
  • It never enters dungeons or event tiles, never leaves the region, and skips tiles more than 5 ranks above your level. When nothing is left to explore, your hero keeps farming the last cleared tile.
  • Death, Stop Combat or picking another tile ends it.
  • Clears while exploring no longer pop up a window or stop combat: a short notice and log lines show the rewards and where you are heading next. The combat bar and the map read ”· Exploring”, and a cyan ring marks the next tile.
  • Exploring continues while you are offline, and the offline recap shows how many areas you explored.
  • Combat tiles now take 500 kills to clear instead of 250. Tiles you had already cleared stay cleared; tiles in progress keep their kill count. Rewards per clear are unchanged.

Monster hunts

  • A slain mark always drops a rare or unique item, rolled like a normal drop from an enemy of the mark’s level, with your Magic Find +200%. It used to be a 25% chance at a unique of any level, which could hand out endgame gear on a level-9 hunt. The reward window and the log line show the item in its rarity colour.

Saves

  • Saves now remember the game version they were last played with. The slot card shows it. Loading an older save asks first and lists what changed since then and what happens to your save. A save from a newer game version is blocked and left untouched.

Hero Box

  • The Hero Box now lists every enabled damage skill, each in its own row. Disabled skills no longer show up.
  • Lacerate shows its damage per hit with the hit count (e.g. “4x 4 - 6”) instead of the four hits added together.
