v0.10.4 — Attack Rating, sharpened

A small balance change to how Attack Rating adds up.

Highlights

Percent Attack Rating is for uniques now

+% Attack Rating no longer rolls on Magic or Rare items and can’t be added or tuned in by the Witch — it is reserved for hand-crafted Uniques. In exchange it got stronger: every AR% source (unique affixes, Leather armor and Blades weapon training, the tavern drink, and active buff skills) is now summed into one multiplier applied on top of your flat Attack Rating, so a unique’s AR% and a buff’s AR% reinforce each other instead of hiding behind gear you already have.

Flat Attack Rating everywhere

+Attack Rating (flat) now rolls on every gear slot — wherever the % version used to appear — with unchanged tier ranges (5–25 up to 100–125).

Your existing gear is converted

On load, every % Attack Rating roll on a Magic or Rare item (bag, stash, equipped, belt, trader offers, pending crafts) becomes flat Attack Rating of the same tier, keeping the roll’s position inside its range — a top-of-tier 12% becomes a top-of-tier flat roll. Uniques keep their % rolls. Items that already had flat AR simply lose the duplicate % line.

Enemy AR Reduction is for uniques too

-% Enemy Attack Rating also leaves the Magic/Rare pool and crafting menus. On load, each such roll on a Magic or Rare item is replaced by a random other affix the item could have rolled — same tier, never a duplicate of what’s already on it. Uniques keep theirs.
