v0.10.0 — The regions resonate

The old per-tile echo run is retired. In its place is Region Resonance — a difficulty ladder you climb just by playing, a real reason to Delve, and a smarter smith.

Highlights

Region Resonance replaces echo runs

Every region now has a Resonance level, and each step raises all of its combat tiles by +10 ranks at once — at max, the Dark Citadel’s hardest tile hits rank 200. You climb just by fighting: kills on cleared frontier tiles fill a counter (1,000 for the first step, +250 after), and progress carries across sessions and offline. Fill it, pay the gold-and-crystal fee, and lock in the step. A dropdown dials the applied difficulty down to any level you’ve unlocked, so you farm in comfort and push when you want — no more hand-starting one 250-kill run at a time.

Better payoffs the deeper you go

Magic Find past rank 100 climbs twice as fast now, capping at +100% at rank 200, and later regions stay the richer farms. Material drops grow +20% per Resonance level. Ascension Keys drop hardest-region-first. And the old punishments are gone: no doubled death penalty, no losing progress on death, no combat stopping itself.

The Delve becomes the crystal engine

Raising every region costs a mountain of Echoing Crystals — and the Endless Delve is now where you earn them, a deep run paying thousands. It graduates from a highscore chase into the pillar that funds your climb.

Echo Skills become Exploration Skills

The tree returns to its roots: 1 point per combat tile you clear for the first time, a lifetime budget of 242, capped at level 100. A sharper choice now — the budget fully maxes two skills of twelve — and respec is still a free, full refund.

Bulk salvage at the smith

Two new buttons — Salvage All Magic and Salvage All Rare — each show a live count, take one confirmation, and sweep every unlocked piece of that rarity in your bag in one pass. Locked and on-the-bench items are never touched.

  • The offline summary reports Resonance kills per region and flags a counter that filled overnight.
  • On mobile the Resonance panel collapses to a compact pill with a full-width buy button.
  • Existing saves move over automatically — regions start at Resonance 0, any in-flight echo run is dropped penalty-free, Exploration Skills respec for free, and a one-time note explains the change.
